The Shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe, which is located in The Grotto Upper Gardens, was built in 2016. Members of the Oregon Council Knights of Columbus of Oregon coordinated the construction of the Shrine, in cooperation with the local Hispanic community.
The Grotto is extremely thankful for the dozens of volunteers and donors who made this possible. A special thanks goes to those who helped through the entire process: Fr. Theodore Lang; Tony Klein (designer of the Shrine); Charlie Marino; Scott Marino; Chuck Marino; Glenn Zumda; Scott Peterson; Jeff Peterson, Ann Klein, Jesse Villarreal; Frank Manning; and Doug Klein, who coordinated the project.
